HR Generalist Reports to: HR Director, NA Beauty Location: Full-time onsite – Cary, IL This position is responsible for supporting the regional Beauty Site HRBP team in partnering with local management in the execution of the business strategy and implementation of Aptar practices within the site, in accordance to local laws, regulations and applicable agreements. As an HR Generalist, You Will: <ul> <li>Act as an organizational steward and model of Aptar culture and core values. </li> <li>Support the deployment of the HR strategy within the assigned site/facility </li> <li>Proactively support Site Management, providing expertise and guidance on any people-related matters across the employee life cycle </li> <li>Support additional key local business projects and initiatives from a people perspective </li> <li>Drive and coordinate the application of the overall HR Agenda within the sites and implementing the yearly HR calendar (activities such as salary planning, LGS, OED, performance review, objectives setting, talent review, etc.) </li> <li>Deploy Aptar HR guidelines and tools developed by the CoE and Service Delivery and ensures that they meet business needs </li> <li>Ensure compliance with employment related laws and regulations, supporting business and regional HR Business Partners with expertise and guidance on personnel matters according to local laws (i.e. disciplinary, terminations, etc.) </li> <li>Partner closely with the HR Service Delivery department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of administrative services to the site </li> <li>Liaise with Regional and Global CoE as appropriate.</li> <li>Work with Talent and Learning Development on people matters such as workforce planning, leadership development, talent acquisition, organization design, change management and succession planning </li> <li>Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for key recruitment initiatives and employer branding </li> <li>Partner with Learning & Development to define future training and development needs and providing training to the business sites offered by HORIZON catalogue </li> <li>Deliver staffing solutions for local profiles, including temporary staff, relying on efficient partnerships with temporary work agencies and leveraging the support of HR Service Delivery where appropriate </li> <li>Utilize HR KPI’s to understand level of service offered to business and drive actions as applicable </li> <li>Act as the employee advocate and change agent and handles conflicts, fostering understanding, advancing ideas and inspiring trust </li> <li>Ensure annual Talent Review and Individual Development Plan processes are completed in cooperation with Regional Talent Management </li> <li>Manage local training with Learning & Development and Corporate University Ongoing recruitment of talent, including employer branding with local universities, schools and apprenticeship programs </li> <li>Develop temporary staffing agency relationships </li> <li>Safety and incidents management (HR obligations deriving from workplace safety and health surveillance laws) </li> </ul> Who We are Looking For Required Qualifications: Education <ul> <li>Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, communications or a related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience </li> </ul> Experience <ul> <li>Strong communication skills </li> <li>Analytical and critical thinking capabilities </li> <li>Proactive problem solver with employee relations experience </li> <li>HRIS, SAP, Dayforce and Microsoft Office skills preferred </li> </ul> Who We are At Aptar, we leverage insights, design, engineering and science to develop drug and consumer product dosing, dispensing and protection technologies for many of the world’s leading brands.
