Lead and manage safety, environmental, and energy-saving initiatives to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Champion alignment with global standards by cascading corporate EHS&amp;S and safety continuous improvement strategies across the site. Facilitate intra-company communication and reporting to support cross-location transparency and performance benchmarking.</p> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="2" width="100%"></div> <p><strong>This is how your journey begins:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Cascade Aptar’s global EHS&amp;S strategies into site-level initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and standards.</li> <li>Lead development and implementation of EHS improvement projects; oversee daily EHS operations.</li> <li>Support compliance audits, track and close findings, and implement corrective actions to maintain ongoing regulatory conformity.</li> <li>Represent the facility in interactions with external agencies (e.g., state departments of labor and environmental quality).</li> <li>Conduct ergonomic assessments and implement improvements based on recognized standards and workplace needs.</li> <li>Manage the incident response program; lead investigations, apply root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective/preventative actions.</li> <li>Compile and report EHS data (e.g., energy usage, waste metrics, safety incidents) to corporate stakeholders and regulatory bodies.</li> <li>Engage with other Aptar facilities to share best practices and ensure consistent application of corporate EHS standards.</li> <li>Track and report site performance against measurable targets; contribute to regional and global dashboards.</li> <li>Train personnel in emergency response protocols for incidents such as fires, severe weather, injuries, and first aid.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering to mitigate risks posed by noise, chemical exposure, or biological hazards.</li> <li>Stay informed about regulatory changes and advise facility leadership proactively.</li> <li>Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement for safety across all functions; advocate for employee-driven change initiatives.</li> <li>Support regional EHS planning and execution, including budgeting, training, and tracking activities through strategic controls.</li> <li>Coordinate with global and regional EHS&amp;S teams to align objectives, improve visibility, and ensure comprehensive reporting across the organization.</li> </ul> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="2" width="100%"></div> <p><strong>What you will bring on the journey</strong></p> <p><strong>Education</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related field; combination of relevant experience and education/cerfifications may be considered in lieu of bachelor degree</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Proven leadership experience managing direct and indirect teams.</li> <li>OSHA 30-Hour Certification.</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in EHS Management Systems auditing.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS program leadership and incident investigation experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations; ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience supporting cross-site reporting and global alignment is an advantage.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Strong ability to influence across organizational levels and functions.</li> <li>Skilled in delivering EHS&amp;S training and fostering employee engagement.</li> <li>Proficiency with SAP and other EHS digital platforms.</li> <li>Excellent project management and structured decision-making skills.</li> <li>Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across global teams.</li> <li>Advanced skills in Excel and BI tools; capable of consolidating and presenting multi-source data.</li> <li>Adept at stakeholder engagement, with a demonstrated passion for cultivating a strong Safety and CI culture.</li> </ul> <div id="tor__flistingLayout_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__flistingLayout_content"> <p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>An exciting, diverse and value based working environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Award-winning corporate university offering personal development and training opportunities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus plan.</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to the communities where we reside.</p> </li> <li> <p>Innovative benefits plan which includes: 401k &amp; Retirement Savings plan, vacation, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, pet insurance, wellness plan, and generous paid maternity/paternity leave.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Be You.
