Aptar is seeking a Quality Control Technician (Operator) based in McHenry, IL. This position is onsite at our McHenry plant. This role is responsible for the total production process through the finished goods stage, as well as for product safety and the quality of goods produced. As a Quality Control Technician (Operator) You Will: <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Promotes and maintains a safe work environment at all times.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Monitors multiple high speed automated production machines to ensure quality production standards in two (2) production areas to support One Production Floor. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Verifies correctness of components from shop order to component number to prevent mixed or wrong parts.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Performs quality checks visually, and using various inspection gauges</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Performs testing of assembled product to ensure product meets performance requirements.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Fills machine hoppers for multiple machines. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Responsible for preparing boxes as needed to meet production demands. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Pull skids from production site to warehouse where applicable. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Performs rework at machine and sorts machine scrap.
