What You Will Do at Aptar Pharma: The primary mission of the Mold Maker under limited supervision, performs a variety of operations to construct, repair or maintain in-house molds/tooling. Assignments may require the use of ordinary tool room equipment and/or outside tooling suppliers and sub-contractors. This position requires working with very tight part/steel drawing specifications/tolerances, which translates to high quality standards <table cellspacing="0" class="Table" style="border-collapse:collapse;border:none;margin-left:-11.0px;width:671.0px"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="border-bottom:none;border-left:none;border-right:none;border-top:none;height:173.0px;padding:0.0in 7.0px 0.0in 7.0px;width:671.0px" valign="top"> What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For: Primary Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Comply with cGMP ensuring such practices are followed by staff.</li> <li>Maintain a safe work environment.</li> <li>Maintain detail log history of tasks performed.</li> <li>Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.</li> <li>Participate in the analysis of defects.</li> <li>Analyze blueprints for mold requirements.</li> <li>Examine mold, spare parts for accuracy and conformity.</li> <li>Communicate to supervisor any issues or problems.</li> <li>Insure all molds are prepared for daily production.</li> <li>Ensure molded components meet all product quality criteria including dimensional and visual.</li> <li>Maintain, repair, clean and alter molds, components/tools and document all work.</li> <li>Fit spare parts for existing tools, enhance components.</li> <li>Dissemble and assemble molds, analyze and solve basic mold problems including flashing</li> </ul> conditions, galling, venting, cooling problems, etc. <ul> <li>Assemble repair, inspect, clean and polish molds using skill and care while handling and polishing</li> <li>critical surfaces.</li> <li>Lay out, fabricate and assemble metalworking dies, molds, and machine tool fixtures by analyzing</li> <li>blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specifications.</li> <li>Use a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments.</li> <li>Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines and surface grinders.</li> <li>Compute dimensions;
