The Controller ensures the integrity of financial information and provides a financial perspective in local decision-making. This Business partnership role is crucial for supporting strategic and operational decisions, maintaining a strong internal control environment, and promoting Aptar's corporate culture and values. The position will report solid line to the Finance & Controlling Regional Director and dotted line to the Local Operations Director. As Plant Controller in Mukwonago, You Will: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Financial Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information to support local decision-making.</li> <li>Process Harmonization: Harmonize and align controlling processes across plants and regions to ensure consistency and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.</li> <li>Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing comprehensive and compelling financial perspective to operating issues: Generate / analyze / interpret / explain financial information in order to: Support sound operating decisions and educate management / others on the financial implications</li> <li>Predictive Analytics: Develop and implement predictive analytics models to forecast financial performance, identify trends, and support strategic planning. Utilize cross-functional data (S&OP) to improve the accuracy and relevance of financial predictions (Quarterly, Budget, 5YP).</li> <li>Financial Analysis: Analyze and interpret financial data to support operational decisions, evaluate business opportunities, and review capital expenditures accordingly.</li> <li>Internal Controls: Maintain a robust internal control environment, including annual SOX testing, ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements, and safeguarding company assets. Assure appropriate and timely information to support the filings required for a public company (10K, 10Q, etc.)</li> <li>Contract Management: Review contracts with customers and suppliers to assess financial impacts and legal risks.</li> <li>Team Development: Promote the growth and training of the finance team to ensure succession planning.</li> </ul> Who We are Looking For Qualifications: Education: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Required: College or university business degree (accounting or finance degree strongly preferred)</li> <li>Preferred: MBA or comparable degree/CPA or comparable certificate</li> </ul> Experience: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>SAP or similar software experience related to financial analysis and reporting.</li> <li>Financial experience in multinational public environment within manufacturing</li> <li>Experience in creating strategic business plans</li> <li>7+ years relative experience in field</li> <li>Proven leadership and cooperative capabilities, including formal department supervisory experience.</li> </ul> Skills <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Ability to work in multicultural environments, manage multiple priorities, strong IT skills, and excellent decision-making and leadership abilities.</li> <li>Language: English mandatory; Spanish, German, or Italian is a plus.</li> <li>Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.</li> </ul> Who We are At Aptar, we leverage insights, design, engineering and science to develop drug and consumer product dosing, dispensing and protection technologies for many of the world’s leading brands.
