<p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p> <p><strong>Include but are not limited to the following: </strong><br> Verifying raw materials used for mixing prior to adding to the extrusion machine. <br> Verifying extrusion set point targets are set according to product type (batch records). <br> Verifying extrusion station line clearance performed. <br> Verifying conversion machine is set to correct length and width for each lane. <br> Verifying converting station line clearance performed. <br> Verifying packaging of product is per packaging specification. <br> Verifying packaging document is a clear reflection of which product is in which box. <br> Communicate with production operators to ensure paperwork is completed and accurate in <br>real time. <br> Performing hourly checks of extrusion to ensure thickness of material is meeting <br>specification. <br> Performing hourly checks of converting to ensure product is meeting specification. <br> Performing hourly checks of packaging to ensure the correct method is being used. <br> Signing off in the batch record at various check points to ensure product is being made <br>according to specifications. <br> Verifying the calibration of the scale each day and log appropriately. <br> Per the batch record, collecting various samples for retains and testing. <br> Weighing film samples for total moisture capacity on a daily basis until testing is <br>discontinued by QE. <br> Completing various tasks (Ex. Ingress Study, Comparison Studies) upon request. <br> Working in other departments on an as-needed basis. <br> Working with Film Quality Engineer on creating and learning new quality procedures for the <br>continual improvement of the Film Department. </p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications/Education/Special Skills </strong><br> High School Diploma or GED required <br> Experience in Quality Assurance preferred <br> Proficient in using calipers and a micro balance scale <br> Must understand basic Microsoft computer skills <br> High accuracy with data entry and attention to detail <br> Understand basic FIFO for inventory purposes. <br> Time management skills <br> Able to work as a team <br> Able to communicate effectively to others <br> Math Skills: Basic College Algebra or Advanced High School Math <br> Reading Skills: Basic College Literature or Senior Reading Level of High School</p>
