Job Req Number: 117659 Time Type: Full Time <h1>Global IT Business Relationship Manager – Contract Logistics</h1> <h2>Main Summary</h2> We are looking for a Global IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to act as the key link between Contract Logistics business teams and IT across the Americas region. This role will play a critical part in driving business and IT alignment during a period of transformation and integration, ensuring that business needs are translated into scalable technology solutions and aligned with the global IT strategy. The successful candidate will combine strong Contract Logistics knowledge with IT business partnering experience, serving as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders while coordinating demands, priorities, and solution delivery across regional and global teams. <h2>Tasks and Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Act as the primary interface between Contract Logistics business stakeholders and IT teams across the Americas region.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Build strong relationships with business leaders, operations teams, local BRMs, and IT delivery teams.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Capture, analyze, and translate business requirements into structured IT demands.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Evaluate requests based on business value, feasibility, cost, risk, and strategic alignment.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Manage the demand lifecycle from intake through prioritization, approval, planning, and delivery handover.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Support the harmonization and optimization of business processes and technology solutions during ongoing organizational transformation initiatives.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Drive visibility and transparency across the IT demand pipeline and portfolio.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align priorities and expectations.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Support customer tenders and business opportunities by providing IT-related expertise.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Monitor solution adoption and business value realization after implementation.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Identify opportunities to standardize, streamline, and improve Contract Logistics processes and supporting technologies.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Act as a trusted advisor, challenging requirements when needed and ensuring solutions are aligned with business and IT objectives.</li> </ul> <h2>Education and Skills</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Strong understanding of Contract Logistics and warehouse operations.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Knowledge of IT demand management, portfolio management, and solution delivery processes.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); exposure to SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms is highly desirable.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Understanding of system integrations, enterprise applications, and business process flows.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Ability to work effectively in global and cross-functional environments.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.</li> </ul> <h2>Minimum Work Experience</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">5+ years of experience in IT Business Partnering, Business Relationship Management, Business Analysis, Program Management, Project Management, or similar roles.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Previous experience supporting Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Supply Chain, or 3PL operations.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience working as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT organizations.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience gathering and managing business requirements and driving technology-related initiatives.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Exposure to transformation, process harmonization, system implementation, or organizational integration projects.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience with customer tenders, solution design discussions, or operational process improvements is considered an advantage.</li> </ul>DSV – Global transport and logistics Working at DSV means playing in a different league.
