Freight Forwarder Immingham Main Purpose of the role DSV are looking to recruit a Freight Forwarder at our Immingham branch. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy operational department. The role will predominantly be focused on large key accounts. We are looking for the right candidate who is professional, motivated and who has a keen interest in the supply chain sector. This is a challenging and rewarding role. What will you be doing? <ul> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Liaising with large key accounts supplying goods to the UK market. </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Supporting on domestic transport routines and international movements between Europe and the UK. </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Be part of a team who are scheduling, planning, and liaising with warehouses, logistics, haulage departments at all levels and with customers externally/internally. </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Support with KPI reporting MBR/QBR and finance in terms of invoicing and finance. Stock appraisals and reconciliation. </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Converse professionally by telephone, as many phone calls are made in the day to day running of the business. </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Using Microsoft products and learn new bespoke systems within DSV </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Administration duties with the ability to focus on prioritising daily tasks </li> </ul> About You <ul> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Good communication skills </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Ability to remain calm under pressure </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Strong problem solving and analytical skills </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Excellent telephone manner </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Good IT Skills – Microsoft Office </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Good telephone manner </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Tenacious and ability to see things through </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">A multi-tasker </li> <li style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Good level of literacy and numeracy </li> </ul> What can we offer you?
