About this role
<p><strong>Objective of job:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Optimization of productivity and quality for production processes installed in the Duncan Plant. </li> <li>Implementation of new processes as part of the industrialization process.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Principal Activities:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Increase efficiency and reduce cycle times of production process within area of responsibility by optimizing process parameters or equipment</li> <li>Eliminate manufacturing waste through process optimization. (time, scrap, effort, etc.)</li> <li>Establish and maintain machine and process capability for production processes within area of responsibility</li> <li>Assist production and maintenance in isolating complex manufacturing issues within area of responsibility, material, or machine functionality related</li> <li>Create, maintain and update production documentation (Process Data Sheets, Work Instructions, P-FMEA, Re-Release Sheets, etc.) as required by IATF 16949 within area of responsibility</li> <li>Cooperate with Process Development and Corporate Process Engineering teams in optimizing and deveoping process improvements and new production processes</li> <li>Validate process and product characteristics (CC’s, SC’s and IC’s) as defined by Product Development, Process Development or Quality Department</li> <li>Establish reference and boundary samples in cooperation with Product Development, Process Development and Quality for production processes within area of responsibility</li> <li>Support Equipment Planner in defining process-specific input (acceptance criteria, quality requirement, etc.) for Requirement Manuals for new production equipment</li> <li>Review engineering change requests (ECR) and give feedback for implementation cost</li> <li>Investigate new technologies to enable DAA to stay competitive in Automotive Manufacturing</li> <li>Define and manage various plant level improvment projects related to the area of responsibility</li> <li>Other duties as assigned by management to ensure optimal plant performance</li> <li>Some travel is required</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.</li> <li>1 to 2 years of knowledge with JIT Principles</li> <li>1 to 2 years of Automated Manufacturing</li> <li>1 to 2 years of Plastic Processing, Continuous Improvement and Analytical Troubleshooting experience</li> <li>Experience with 2D and 3D Modeling Software is desired.</li> <li>Knowledge with Industrial Automation and Controls is a plus. </li> </ul><table style="width:1000.0px" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1"> <tbody> <tr> <td> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="color:#000000">We are looking forward to your application. </span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="color:#000000">Company / Legal Entity: DAA Dräxlmaier Automotive of America LLC., Org-Code: O-AM2-DUN612 </span></span></span></p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table>
