About this role
<p><strong>Objective of Job: </strong></p> <p>Check in and unload trucks, perform simple inspections of materials, and transport material appropriately. Stock in materials, pick orders, and perform simple cycle counts of warehouse. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Principal Activities: </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Inspect incoming parts/goods/materials for clearly recognizable damage (e.g. packaging, part/material, etc.); make yes/no decisions</li> <li>Sort out damaged parts/batches, place in blocked storage area</li> <li>Carry out simple transport within the plant</li> <li>Assemble and forward transported goods documentation (e.g. accompanying papers, packing slips, hazardous materials documentation, etc.) according to the order</li> <li>Simple input (e.g. bar code, etc.) of given data (e.g. identification numbers, quantities, weights, etc.)</li> <li>Assist with inventory control/inventory (e.g. counting, weighing, etc.); report deviations</li> <li>Check and compare quantities of parts/goods/materials with accompanying papers (e.g. count, weigh, compare ID numbers, etc.)</li> <li>Book parts/goods/material in and out to specified storage locations (e.g. holding areas, blocked (JFD) materials storage, customs warehouse, etc.) according to guidelines/instructions</li> <li>Receive, sort, distribute, unpack, book in, and repack parts/goods/material; if necessary, use simple to operate material handling equipment (e.g. hand trucks, forklifts, bicycles, small vehicles, etc.)</li> <li>Ensure incoming parts/goods/materials are clear of recognizable damage.</li> <li>Ensure that products are not damaged during transportation. If damages during the transportation occur, notify team leader and quality inspection.</li> <li>Forward transported goods documentation (packing slips, hazardous materials documentations, bill of laden, etc…) to team leader and/or receiving clerk.</li> <li>Perform specific tasks using hand-held Scanners (ie. moving media to media and warehouse to warehouse).</li> <li>Check and compare quantities of parts/goods/materials with accompanying papers.</li> <li>Receive, sort, distribute, unpack, book in, and repack parts/goods/material; if necessary.</li> <li>Maintains good housekeeping using the 6S principles</li> <li>Performs PIT inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order and follows all safety guidelines for the work area.</li> <li>Ensure the timely delivery of parts and materials.</li> <li>Be cooperative with co-workers in order to maintain a good working environment.</li> <li>Use hand-held scanner to move media to media and warehouse to warehouse.</li> <li>Stock in, distribute, pick, repack, and verify parts/goods/material; if necessary.</li> <li>Perform specific tasks using Scanners to systematically move materials.</li> <li>Use Powered Industrial trucks (Turret, Stand-up Forklifts, and Sit-Down Forklift) unload, store, retrieve, stage, and transport material.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements: </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>1-2 years of manufacturing experience</li> <li>Good technical knowledge of sit down, stand up, and reach trucks. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Shift:</strong> Night Shift</p><table style="width:1000.0px" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1"> <tbody> <tr> <td> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="color:#000000">We are looking forward to your application. </span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="color:#000000">Company / Legal Entity: DAA Dräxlmaier Automotive of America LLC., Org-Code: O-AM2-DUN342 </span></span></span></p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table>
