About this role

Leads the design, analysis, and implementation of compensation programs that support organizational goals. Applies advanced knowledge of compensation principles and organizational strategy to solve moderate to complex problems that may not have well-defined solutions. Works independently with minimal supervision, providing expertise and guidance in compensation-related matters. As the senior consultant on the team, the Lead Compensation Analyst will be a mentor to other Compensation team members and provide guidance and support on complex projects or compensation issues.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain competitive compensation structures aligned with business objectives and market trends.Conduct comprehensive compensation analyses, including benchmarking, job evaluations, and pay equity assessments.Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to design and implement compensation strategies and programs.Interpret and apply compensation policies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.Lead compensation-related projects and initiatives to support organizational change and growth.Provide expert guidance on complex compensation issues and recommend effective solutions.Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate compensation findings and recommendations.Executive compensation program design, plan management, administration, proxy disclosure and analysis.

Analyze market data and internal salary structures to recommend adjustments and enhancements.Evaluate job roles and classifications to ensure alignment with compensation frameworks.Manage compensation surveys and data collection processes.Support the development and administration of incentive and bonus programs.Monitor compliance with compensation policies and relevant legal requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compensation strategies with broader HR initiatives. Years Of Experience

5 to 8 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis or related HR functions.Demonstrated experience solving moderately complex compensation problems with limited guidance.Experience working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex compensation challenges.Advanced knowledge of compensation principles, market analysis, and regulatory compliance.Effective communication skills for presenting data and influencing stakeholders.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and projects.

Software Application

Compensation management systems (e.g., PayScale, Mercer WIN, Salary.com)Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactorsMicrosoft Excel (advanced functions and data analysis)Data visualization tools (Power BI) preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required, MA or MBA preferred. Advanced certifications in compensation or total rewards (e.g., CCP, GRP) are preferred.

Physical Requirements

Primarily sedentary work involving extended periods of computer use. Occasional requirements to attend meetings or training sessions in various locations within the organization’s facilities.
