Essential Functions: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Work with Bunge facilities and railcar leasing companies on shopping of railcars due to required maintenance programs</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Obtain shop information on status of railcars for private car fleet and provide biweekly shop report to business units and Rail Operations management.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Work with railroads to divert rail equipment for maintenance programs and update the appropriate computer application with diversion information</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Monitor and investigate railcars that report as bad order by various railroads and update the appropriate computer application with investigation findings</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Utilize various software applications to manage, track and trace the private fleet of railcars in relation to railcars requiring maintenance</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Work with mobile units to repair railcars at Bunge or customer facilities as needed</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Maintain accuracy of railcar records in the software applications with regards to car mechanical and test information</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Maintain annual kosher certification of private rail tank car fleet</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">File and update loading authority applications on private railcar fleet through Railinc web-based database as railcars are added, remarked, or removed from Bunge’s fleet.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Provide backup support to Manager, Fleet Maintenance</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Other duties as assigned </li> </ul> Skill/Experience Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in transportation or logistics</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">2 or more years of experience with the maintenance of a private rail car fleet</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Background in transportation is a must, which includes providing logistics support</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Ability to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and conflicting objectives</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Problem solver and quick/accurate decision maker</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Proven ability to work independently with little supervision</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Demonstrate high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential </li> </ul><hr> At Bunge (NYSE: BG), our purpose is to connect farmers to consumers to deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.
