Position Details: Monday through Friday day shift Pay: $34.67 an hour What You’ll Be Doing: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal">Maintain all automation throughout the facility (electric circuits of 480VAC or less)</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Troubleshoot and repair high voltage lighting, variable frequency drive (VFD) and alternating current / direct current (AC/DC) systems</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logix Control (PLC) (Allen-Bradley) systems like SLC 500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, PLC 5s, 5000 Logix Controllers and Panel Views</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Check output on DC controllers and replace printed circuit boards when needed</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Troubleshoot, locate, test, identify, or diagnose electrical malfunction and then adjust, repair, or replace</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Follow, interpret, and read blueprints or schematics</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Calibrate and/or troubleshoot process instrumentation</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Assigning IP addresses to new equipment</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Inspect for conformity to industry standards or specifications</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Rebuild, repair, and replace damaged, defective, or worn parts</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Maintain a clean and orderly work area and remove material and equipment from job site</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Troubleshoot and repair AC motor starter circuits</li> </ul> Minimum Qualifications: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal">Associates degree in electronics or 3-5 years of equivalent experience is required</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Ability to read and understand ladder logic</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Experience with networking systems such as Control Net, Ethernet, and Data Highway</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Familiarity with mass flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, burner control systems and other like equipment found in an automated plant</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Good written and verbal communications skills</li> </ul> Preferred Qualification: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal">3-5 years of experience or schooling troubleshooting and repairing PLC’s</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Programming experience</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Previous work in a soybean crush facility</li> <li style="line-height:normal">Experience with SAP maintenance software</li> </ul> Benefits: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal">Health Benefits – Offering choices so you can enroll in medical, dental and vision plans that meet your individual needs. </li> <li style="line-height:normal">401(k) Retirement Plan – Investing in your future with an automatic 5% company contribution AND matching up to 4% of your contributions. </li> <li style="line-height:normal">Family Support – Supporting new and growing families by providing 6 weeks of 100% paid parental leave and fertility coverage. </li> <li style="line-height:normal">Tuition Reimbursement – after one year of service, eligible for tuition expenses reimbursement of up to $5000 per year. </li> <li style="line-height:normal">Vacation time- We value work-life balance and offer a generous vacation program.
