Using strong engineering principles and living the Bunge Core Values, you’ll ensure the facility remains safe, competitive, and continuously improving.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Champion a strong safety culture by modeling safe work habits and ensuring employees and contractors follow safety standards.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Lead and manage the facility’s Process Safety Management (PSM) program, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal Bunge requirements.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Drive efficiency initiatives with a strong focus on reducing costs without sacrificing safety.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Partner with facility teams to plan and implement projects aimed at improving Productivity, Quality, Safety, and Environment (PQSE) performance.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Support the prioritization and optimization of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Identify Lean Sigma opportunities and assist with implementation efforts.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Implement and oversee process optimization activities.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Provide technical support on topics such as dry material handling, air flow, heat exchange, power systems, PLCs, steam systems, and liquid handling/storage.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Collaborate with plant leadership to define technical needs, develop CapEx requirements, evaluate project proposals, and support CapEx presentations.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Assist with engineering tasks including drawing reviews, equipment specifications, operational narratives, training, commissioning, and start-up activities.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Identify, promote, and help implement best practices across operations; support troubleshooting of operational challenges.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Support vendor assessments, OEM equipment evaluations, and contractor/engineering firm reviews.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Ensure facility projects align with all Federal and State environmental regulations.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Make decisions with strong cost and quality considerations.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Collaborate cross-functionally with safety, engineering, environmental, commercial, accounting, legal, QA/QC, procurement, and other teams.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Regularly review production data to ensure accuracy and identify continuous improvement opportunities.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Support Regional Continuous Improvement initiatives.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="">Skills & Experience Required</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Agricultural, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering—or equivalent experience.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">1–2 years of experience in plant operations, maintenance, and safety.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Knowledge of industry design codes and regulations, including NFPA 36, NFPA 61, OSHA, and EPA requirements (preferred).</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem‑solving skills.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Effective organization and planning abilities.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Collaborative team mindset.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Experience managing projects under $1M, with successful on-time, on-budget, and safety-compliant outcomes.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Able to work with direction and oversight while demonstrating initiative.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Ability to evaluate operational gaps and recommend solutions with support from cross-functional partners.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0in"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in"><span style=""><span style="">Bunge offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays.</span></span></p> <p><span style="">Bunge is an equal opportunity employer committed to cultivating a diverse culture.
