This role is ideal for someone with a strong mathematics background who enjoys logic, complex problem-solving, and building smart, data-driven solutions in a financial environment.</p> <p>The successful candidate will work behind the scenes to develop, monitor, and maintain credit-related models, tools, and processes that support intelligent decision-making and operational efficiency.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and support backend credit intelligence models, tools, and processes.</li> <li>Analyse data using SAS, SQL, and Excel.</li> <li>Monitor system behaviour, flags, anomalies, client queries, and economic impact triggers.</li> <li>Prepare clear monthly reports and communicate insights effectively.</li> <li>Ensure accurate balancing of bank-related data and support system enhancements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong mathematics background, such as BCom with Maths or similar.</li> <li>Actuarial students or candidates with actuarial aptitude are encouraged to apply.</li> <li>Experience with SAS, SQL, and advanced Excel.</li> <li>Strong logical reasoning, numerical ability, and comfort with complex calculations.</li> <li>Excellent written communication, curiosity, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join?</strong></p> <p>You will contribute to the analytical foundations behind credit decisioning in a challenging, rewarding environment where your work directly influences business outcomes.
