Whether you're working at a receival site, on the tools, or managing operations, your work matters here.</p> <p style="margin:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong>About the role</strong><br>Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor we’re seeking a permanent, qualified, Diesel Mechanic to join the team based on our Goondiwindi West workshop, with responsibility for servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown management of various diesel-based mobile equipment including front-end loaders, tractors, Bobcats, generators as well as some fixed equipment. Whilst most of your work will be workshop-based, some travel in the region may be required to undertake repairs and servicing on-site.<br> </p> <p style="margin:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:<br> </p> <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Vehicle and equipment diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Engine, steering, transmission and braking systems repair, replacement and checks</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Maintenance of parts inventory and workshop cleanliness</li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong>About your experience</strong><br>Our ideal candidate must have a relevant trade certificate in diesel mechanics. You will have proven fault-finding capabilities and be proactive and safety focused. Computer literate, self-motivated and reliable, you’ll have solid time management abilities and a high standard of communication.<br> </p> <p style="margin:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">The ability to work at heights and within confined spaces is required.
