<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a creative and design-driven Assistant Apparel Designer to join our outdoor apparel team.</p> <p>In this role, you will support the design and development of outdoor-inspired apparel that blends functional sports requirements with contemporary fashion aesthetics, suitable for both outdoor sport scenarios and everyday wear.</p> <p>Working under the OD (Outdoor) framework, you will help translate performance sport knowledge, lifestyle trends, and consumer insights into commercially relevant products for the Chinese market, contributing to a modern and versatile product offering within our APP ecosystem.</p> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="0" width="100%"></div> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Design & Concept Development</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Assist in designing full-category outdoor apparel, including tops, bottoms, outwears ,down/padded jackets,and seasonal layering pieces.</li> <li>Translate design ideas into sketches, flat drawings, color-ups, and basic tech packs for development teams.</li> <li>Participate in fabric, trim, and color selection, with attention to performance properties and visual impact.</li> <li>Collaborate with senior designers to build cohesive OD product stories.</li> </ul> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="0" width="100%"></div> <p><strong>Trend, Sport & Consumer Insight</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Research outdoor sport, athleisure, and lifestyle sportswear trends across global and local markets.</li> <li>Track developments in functional fabrics, stretch materials, moisture management, and lightweight constructions.</li> <li>Monitor fashion trends in silhouette, proportion, and color that can elevate outdoor products.</li> </ul> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="0" width="100%"></div> <p><strong>Project Execution & Collaboration</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Support seasonal design execution in line with the product calendar.</li> <li>Work closely with Product Development, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-aligned.</li> <li>Participate in sample reviews, fittings, and performance-related feedback, supporting continuous refinement.</li> <li>Maintain clear and organized design files throughout the development process.</li> </ul> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="0" width="100%"></div> <p><strong>Key Relationships</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Senior Apparel Designers / OD Design Lead</li> <li>Product Development</li> <li>Merchandising & Product Planning</li> <li>Sourcing & Materials Teams</li> <li>External Suppliers & Factories</li> </ul> <div align="center"><hr align="center" size="0" width="100%"></div> <p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.</li> <li>3+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in outdoor products, performance sportswear, or fashion-functional apparel.</li> <li>Background or strong interest in outdoor products design is required.</li> <li>Women’s apparel or women’s sportswear experience is a advantage.</li> <li>Understanding of garment construction, fit for movement, and functional materials.</li> <li>Portfolio demonstrating design sensibility, functional thinking, and product versatility.</li> <li>Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.</li> <li>Basic working proficiency in English; Mandarin is required.</li> </ul>
