<p><strong>We're looking for an experienced retail leader who maintains high standards of themselves and their staff to drive excellence in our Newmarket Concept Store in Auckland, NZ.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>This is a unique opportunity to work in a premium adidas concept store and requires an experienced, commercially minded leader who can closely align with our brand standards and objectives.</p> <p>The ideal candidate must be able to confidently present themselves and their store to a high standard and work efficiently to support a wide variety of customers and key stakeholders.</p> <p>Retail Leaders are expected to lead from the front, inspire success in all areas of people management and store management.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Managing, motivating and leading the team to achieve KPI’s, sales targets and an exceptional customer experience.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success, ensuring all team are cognizant of store performance results, data, objectives and action plans.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Analyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Address identified improvement areas to maximise commercial impact, involving the District Manager or other Retail Back Office partners as needed.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Drive continuous improvements in the store’s sales, productivity and profitability, identifying ways to remain most productive and efficient and actioning them.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Lead service by example, maximizing time spent selling and leading team on the sales floor.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Work with the District Manager to identify and develop select strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Field Career Ladder</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Conducting staff training & coaching to drive KPI performance and brand knowledge and awareness.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Effectively managing all retail operations within a retail store environment, empowering team contribution and skillset in the process.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Coordinate team members to consistently execute and maintain established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Coordinate team members to ensure most efficient inventory processing procedures and a seamless stock-to-floor process.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Collaborate with internal stakeholders and brand partners to ensure professional and adequate department support at a store level.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>The successful candidate:</strong></p> <p>You will have a commercial mindset and strong retail background with a proven track record of success in a similar retail leadership position, consistently leading a team to achieve budgeted sales.</p> <p><br>You will be motivated, energetic, results driven and passionate about people and product. You will also be confident working in a fast paced, high-exposure concept store, leading store walk-throughs and liaising with brand leaders and stakeholders.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Experience in the following will be highly regarded:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Retail Store Manager experience representing men’s/women’s global brand, preferably in sports would be desirable.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>You have experience as a leader in coaching and mentoring your team to succeed.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What’s on offer?</strong></p> <p>A competitive annual salary, retail bonus scheme, and adidas employee benefits are also on offer to the successful candidate</p>
