If you’ve worked in mining, oil & gas, petrochemical or other heavy industrial settings, you’ll feel right at home. </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Operational & Equipment Tasks </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Handle and load Ammonium Nitrate (AN) and Ammonium Nitrate Solution (ANSol) in bagged, bulk and containerised formats</li> <li>Operate ITCs, forklifts, conveyors and other bulk-handling machinery</li> <li>Carry out logistics-area start‑ups and shutdowns</li> <li>Ensure equipment and plant areas are operationally ready</li> </ul> <p>Coordination & Communication </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Work with external logistics providers to safely and efficiently dispatch trucks</li> <li>Report equipment, process and product-quality issues to the logistics and production teams</li> <li>Participate in daily and weekly pre-start and planning meetings </li> </ul> <p>Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Follow and help improve procedures and SOPs</li> <li>Assist with investigations and contribute to corrective actions</li> <li>Participate in Yara Productivity System (YPS) activities</li> <li>Provide training and task supervision to other personnel(when experienced)</li> </ul> <p>Admin & System Tasks </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Complete SAP transactions, purchasing requests, material movement permits and consignment documentation</li> <li>Support monthly KPI tracking for the Production department </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:24.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About you</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Essential</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Experience in an industrial environment (mining, O&G, petrochemical, manufacturing or similar)</li> <li>Experience with chemical or bulk material handling or mobile plant operation</li> <li>Ability to work safely in a Major Hazard Facility environment</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Australian/NZ citizenship or permanent residency </li> </ul> <p><strong>Tickets you should already hold </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Forklift</li> <li>Integrated Tool Carrier (or similar loader)</li> <li>EWP</li> <li>Work at Heights</li> <li>Confined Space Entry</li> <li>Gas Testing</li> <li>(If you’re missing one or two but have strong industrial experience, we still encourage you to apply.) </li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Cert III in Logistics, Business, Process Plant, ESI or RII</li> <li>Dogging or Rigging</li> <li>MHF or Dangerous Goods experience</li> <li>SAP experience</li> <li>Exposure to Lean/Continuous Improvement </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:24.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What's on offer?</b></H2> </div><div><ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>$46,000 per annum Karratha housing assistance for duration of employment</li> <li>6 weeks of paid annual leave</li> <li>2D 2N 4 off roster </li> <li>$35,000 per annum regional location allowance </li> <li>$25,000 per annum shift allowance</li> <li>$1,000 annual Health and Wellness allowance</li> <li>Annual bonus program with a target of one month’s base salary</li> <li>$3,000 per annum electricity/water utility reimbursement</li> <li>Flights for yourself and dependents, twice per year, after initial service period</li> <li>Relocation assistance</li> <li>As well as 6 months paid primary parental leave, culturally diverse workforce with a DEI Ambassador program, salary packaging, and active Social Club </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:24.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About Yara Pilbara</b></H2> </div><div><p>The Yara Pilbara Fertilisers' plant is one of the largest ammonia production sites in the world and we have also taken the ammonia process further downstream with the Yara Pilbara Nitrates Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) plant, a joint venture with Orica.
