<p><span style="color:#0c0c85"><strong>About the role</strong></span></p> <p>The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for partnering with Services Leadership providing financial reporting, P&L analysis, planning, and forecasting. This position requires a strong accounting and analytical aptitude. This position requires the ability to multitask, collaborate at all levels of the business, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. <br> </p> <p><strong>Annual compensation: </strong>$95K USD </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#0c0c85"><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.</li> <li>Collaborate with the management team to improve operational and financial performance.</li> <li>Guides cost analysis process by enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.</li> <li>Assists in the month-end close processes and financial reporting.</li> <li>Prepare monthly reporting package sub-schedules and P&L variance analysis.</li> <li>Develops best practice process flows in defined area of responsibility.</li> <li>Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis, as requested by management. </li> <li>Creates and maintains reports for senior management and presents data to appropriate parties.</li> <li>Prepares budget and forecasts partnering with the business and under the direction of management.</li> <li>Prepares budget to actual comparisons analysis.</li> <li>Provide qualitative analysis and commentary on monthly results.</li> <li>Develops Key Performance Indicator (KPI) summary reporting and analysis.</li> <li>Maintains financial data accuracy and integrity by in-depth analysis of financial reports and underlying data. <ul> <li>Reviewing financial reports and underlying data</li> <li>Questioning reporting of data anomalies</li> <li>Initiating error detection controls to prevent future errors</li> <li>Initiating error correction activities</li> </ul> </li> <li>Plans and manages business analysis across multiple projects and initiatives</li> <li>Performs special assignments and analysis as requested </li> <li>Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.</li> </ul> <p><br><span style="color:#0c0c85"><strong>What you have</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required</li> <li>5+ years related business experience in a medium to large size business</li> <li>Legally eligible to work in the United States.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.</li> <li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel.(e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint</li> <li>Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Professional self-starter, able to work independently, and has strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with others.</li> <li>Extremely detail oriented and resourceful.</li> <li>Prior experience using SAP a plus.</li> <li>Prior experience with services accounting, revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting a plus.</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and personal judgment.</li> </ul> <p> </p><p><span style="color:#000080"><b>What you can expect</b></span></p> <p>There’s so much more to enjoy about being at Computacenter than just having a rewarding career.
