} .profile_heading { font-weight: bold; } .profile_content { padding-bottom: 0.5rem; } .profile_section:has(.profile_item:empty) { display: none; } </style><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Your responsibilities:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>As an AI Software Engineer you are part of our Global Agile Team, building AI-powered products that create real business value across ALDI</li> <li>You design and implement AI applications such as ALDI:GPT and internal knowledge solutions</li> <li>You develop state-of-the-art AI agents and agentic workflows that automate complex business processes</li> <li>You build production-grade GenAI solutions using modern frameworks and APIs, focusing on reliability, observability and measurable impact</li> <li>You design and implement RAG systems, integrate vector databases and optimize prompts and context pipelines</li> <li>You collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate real-world problems into practical AI solutions</li> <li>You work across the stack when needed, including backend services, automation workflows and lightweight frontend interfaces</li> <li>You build and maintain automation workflows (e.g. n8n) to connect AI capabilities with enterprise systems</li> <li>You contribute to internal AI platforms, APIs and developer tooling that accelerate idea-to-production</li> <li>You implement evaluation pipelines, guardrails and monitoring to ensure AI systems behave reliably in production</li> <li>You write clean, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions</li> <li>You actively use AI tools in your daily work to improve productivity, development speed and solution quality</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>The knowledge I own:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Strong Python development skills and experience building backend services (e.g. FastAPI) </li> <li>Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similar agent frameworks</li> <li>Experience designing RAG pipelines, working with embeddings and vector databases</li> <li>Understanding of prompt engineering, context management and LLM application design patterns</li> <li>Experience building production applications with modern software engineering practices</li> <li>Comfort working with JavaScript and React for building simple interfaces or integrations</li> <li>Experience building automation workflows (e.g. n8n or similar automation platforms)</li> <li>Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure and integrating enterprise systems (e.g. SAP)</li> <li>Understanding of evaluation strategies, observability and monitoring for AI systems</li> <li>Comfortable using modern AI tools and copilots as part of your daily development workflow</li> <li>Experience with testing, code reviews and collaborative development practices</li> <li>Fluent and effective communication in English within an international team</li> <li>Growth-oriented mindset with willingness to learn new platforms and technologies </li> <li>Comfortable working in an environment that includes operational responsibility; on-call participation may be required later </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What makes a great candidate: </strong></p> <ul> <li>You have a strong technical background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a comparable field</li> <li>You have built and delivered at least 2–3 real AI-powered applications, features, or automations that solved practical problems<br>You can independently implement GenAI solutions end‑to‑end, from idea to working prototype or MVP</li> <li>You have hands-on experience building at least one RAG system, AI agent, or production LLM integration</li> <li>You demonstrate ownership by taking responsibility for delivering working solutions rather than just experiments or demos</li> <li>You understand the practical challenges of working with LLMs such as hallucinations, context limits and prompt reliability </li> <li>You are curious about business problems and enjoy translating them into practical AI or automation solutions</li> <li>You actively use AI tools to improve your productivity and development workflow</li> <li>You continuously learn and explore new tools, frameworks and approaches in the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>For bonus points: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with agent architectures and multi-agent systems</li> <li>Experience with production LLM deployments or AI platform engineering </li> <li>Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker) and modern cloud-native workflows </li> <li>Experience building internal developer tools or productivity platforms </li> <li>Experience working with enterprise knowledge bases and document processing systems </li> </ul> <p><br>Don't feel like you fit all of the above points?
