} .profile_heading { font-weight: bold; } .profile_content { padding-bottom: 0.5rem; } .profile_section:has(.profile_item:empty) { display: none; } </style><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>How You’ll Make Your Mark</b></H2> </div><div><p>Your main tasks in this role are:</p> <ul> <li>As a Freight Sourcing Expert, you'll <strong>take end-to-end ownership</strong> of <strong>complex and strategic freight sourcing initiatives</strong> across regions </li> <li>You'll <strong>lead and structure large-scale tender processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP)</strong>, ensuring delivery against strategic objectives </li> <li>Your tasks include to <strong>define sourcing approaches, develop negotiation strategies, and lead high-impact supplier negotiations </strong></li> <li>You'll act as the <strong>primary project lead for transport procurement projects</strong>, managing timelines, risks, and outcomes</li> <li>In your role you'll <strong>drive stakeholder alignment </strong>across senior functions, including logistics, operations, finance, and leadership </li> <li>You are the contact person to<strong> translate business requirements into sourcing strategies</strong> and ensure execution excellence </li> <li>You are intergral to <strong>provide commercial insights</strong>, scenario analyses, and recommendations to support decision-making </li> <li><strong>Overseeing implementation of sourcing outcomes</strong> and ensure sustainable supplier performance are parts of your tasks</li> <li>You'll act as a<strong> key interface for strategic suppliers</strong> and critical sourcing initiatives </li> <li>This role includes international collaboration and<strong> you are excited to travel within Europe (approx. 10-20%) </strong></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Candidate Profile</b></H2> </div><div><p>The requirements of the role include:</p> <ul> <li>As a Freight Sourcing Expert, you possess a University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or similar </li> <li>You have 5+ years of experience in procurement, with strong exposure to strategic freight sourcing and transport procurement (road, rail, sea) </li> <li>You have a proven track record of leading complex, cross-regional sourcing projects end-to-end </li> <li>Your competecies are in developing sourcing strategies and leading high-value supplier negotiations </li> <li>You are experienced in managing senior stakeholders and driving alignment in a matrix organisation </li> <li>You have a strong understanding of logistics networks, transport markets, and cost structures </li> <li>Ideally, you have experience in supplier management, performance tracking, and implementation of sourcing decisions and with e-sourcing tools (e.g. Transporeon) and procurement systems </li> <li>Your mindset is analytical and you enjoy negotiations and project management</li> <li>As a Freight Sourcing Consultant (m/w/d) you are a strong communicator with the ability to influence senior levels </li> <li>You are fluent in English (mandatory);
