} .profile_heading { font-weight: bold; } .profile_content { padding-bottom: 0.5rem; } .profile_section:has(.profile_item:empty) { display: none; } </style><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>How You’ll Make Your Mark</b></H2> </div><div><p>Your main tasks in this role are:</p> <ul> <li>As a Freight Sourcing Specialist, you are responsible for the end-to-end execution of strategic freight sourcing activities </li> <li>You'll manage RFI and RFQ processes, including bid evaluation and supplier negotiations</li> <li>You'll develop sourcing strategies, conduct commercial analyses, and provide award recommendations</li> <li>You'll collaborate closely with logistics, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders</li> <li>You'll ensure alignment of sourcing activities with business requirements and procurement priorities</li> <li>You'll coordinate stakeholders, support governance and reporting, and act as a key contact for sourcing topics</li> <li>You'll participate in supplier discussions, meetings, and implementation activities</li> <li>The role includes international collaboration and occasional travel within Europe (approx. 10%)</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Candidate Profile</b></H2> </div><div><p>The requirements of the role include:</p> <ul> <li>As a Freight Sourcing Specialist, you hold a university degree or relevant job-specific professional experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or similar </li> <li>You have around 3 years of experience in procurement, ideally in freight sourcing or transport procurement </li> <li>You are experienced in tender management (RFI/RFQ), supplier negotiations, and sourcing processes </li> <li>You have a solid understanding of logistics, transport markets, and cost structures </li> <li>You are very analytical and posess negotiation skills, with a structured and results-driven approach </li> <li>Ideally, you are experienced with procurement tools or e-sourcing platforms (e.g. Transporeon) </li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and regions are your strong points </li> <li>Since you will be spending a lot of time in an international environment, you are fluent in English;
