The selected candidate will report to the <strong>Consultant – Cloud Solutions and Services.</strong></p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">.</H2> </div><div><p>The<strong> Intern – Cloud Solutions and Services </strong>will be responsible for:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Assisting in maintaining and enhancing cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools and dashboards.</li> <li>Supporting cloud security assessments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.</li> <li>Conducting configuration reviews to ensure alignment with cloud security best practices and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and ISO 27001.</li> <li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate cloud security gaps.</li> <li>Assisting in the preparation of cloud security documentation including security architecture, policies, and procedures.</li> <li>Supporting incident response activities and investigations related to cloud workloads or platforms.</li> <li>Monitoring, triaging, and escalating cloud-based security alerts and vulnerabilities.</li> <li>Staying updated on evolving cloud security threats, technologies, and compliance requirements while contributing to internal knowledge sharing initiatives.</li> <li>Maintaining accurate documentation for assigned tasks and engagements.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">.</H2> </div><div><p><strong>The ideal candidate should possess:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.</li> <li>Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.</li> <li>Basic understanding of cloud security principles including identity and access management and encryption.</li> <li>Exposure to tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Defender will be an added advantage.</li> <li>Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR.</li> <li>Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) will be an added advantage.</li> <li>Basic scripting or programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell will be an added advantage.</li> <li>Foundational knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and web technologies.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.</li> </ul></div></div></div><p>If you’re up for the challenge, please send your resume to <a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a>or Click on the advert to apply.
