The role involves continuous monitoring of commodity markets, cost drivers, and supply dynamics to develop data-driven sourcing strategies and cost optimization proposals. Key responsibilities include conducting procurement risk assessments, developing mitigation plans to address supply continuity and single-source exposure, and driving alternative material and supplier qualification. The role prepares detailed price estimations, cost models, and annual budget projections to support financial planning and forecasting accuracy. The position manages stock positioning analysis and procurement planning, executes supplier negotiations in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensures compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and documentation requirements. These activities ensure timely material availability aligned with production schedules and sales targets. The Procurement Manager supports the New Product Development (NPD) process by coordinating material readiness, supplier approvals, and launch timelines.
