We focus on implementing and enhancing security protocols and technologies to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data stored in ONTAP. As a Senior Engineer, you will be part of a high-performance team responsible for designing, developing, and testing security features. You will also mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. </p> <p>An ideal candidate for this position will be driven to produce results, collaborative, curious, and creative. You will strive to excel in your day-to-day work and will continue to produce high-quality results without requiring constant supervision. You will bring broad experience across multiple domains, including systems, networking and security shaping system architectures that balance performance, concurrency, reliability, and long‑term maintainability. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Requirements</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent coding skills in C/C++ </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and OS fundamentals. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience in designing high‑performance data paths with careful handling of concurrency, crash consistency, lock contention, and parallel packet processing. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Engage with customers on escalations and ensure continuous improvement in all areas under your technical purview. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience with security technologies such as TLS, Kerberos, and IPsec is a plus. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Participate in technical discussions within the team and with other groups within Business Units associated with specified projects. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work on multiple tasks and responsibilities that contribute towards team, department, and company goals. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Enforce best practices for software design and development through appropriate reviews. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Stay updated with new technologies and apply creative ideas to solve problems. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coding and execution of projects.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Technical design and architecture.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Test automation and debugging using Python.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performance analysis and optimization.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Running Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Research & Development (R&D) activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Critical and/or high visibility customer support </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Education</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">8- 12 years of relevant experience.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s Degree or PhD is preferred. </li> </ul></div></div></div>
