Endress+Hauser Temperature+System Products is one of the leading global suppliers of temperature measurement, temperature engineered solutions and system products.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What is the role about?</strong> </p> <p>This role is responsible for day-to-day operations in the production of high-quality temperature sensitive inserts. Implements and executes operator preventative maintenance tasks to support machines. Completes production plan as provided by the Supply Chain team to ensure on-time delivery. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Which tasks will you perform?</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Fabricate sub-components to create sensor technologies as needed using various tools and machines </li> <li>Prepare production orders by picking components according to bill of material, cutting raw materials to length as specified </li> <li>Assemble mechanical and electronic devices to form complete thermometers or subassembly components, including programming transmitters and using laser </li> <li>Hand soldering and brazing of electronic components </li> <li>Small-scale manual TIG welding </li> <li>Buffing/sanding of completed temperature sensors </li> <li>Perform visual inspection and functional testing </li> <li>Maintain accurate inventory and notify logistics of adjustments or scrap </li> <li>Assist with cross training employees on production processes </li> <li>Utilize computer applications to perform automated testing of devices and close production orders upon completion </li> <li>Use production and software systems to look up or enter information that supports the area </li> <li>All other duties as assigned </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What do we expect from you?</strong><strong>​</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated </li> <li>Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and operate machines </li> <li>Able to follow written and verbal directions </li> <li>Can read and understand basic drawings, diagrams, and production orders </li> <li>Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions </li> <li>TIG welding experience preferred </li> <li>Soldering and/or Brazing experience preferred </li> <li>High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related fabrication experience or equivalent professional training. </li> <li>Must be detail oriented </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What can you expect from us?</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Family-owned, highly committed global company with a sustainable vision of the future.</li> <li>Lifelong learning encouraged by versatile training, tuition reimbursement, success coaching, and further education opportunities.</li> <li>Comprehensive benefit package (to include medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) savings with company match. </li> <li>Compensation is competitive and includes bonus opportunities.</li> <li>Work-life balance encouraged through our 10 company-paid holidays, paid time off, paid parental leave, employee assistance programs (financial, mental, and physical health and wellbeing), and employee discounts.</li> <li>Employees work in a safety-first, climate controlled, clean manufacturing facility with utilization of Lean practices and ergonomic workstations to enhance productivity and comfort.</li> <li>On-site amenities such as cafeteria, gym, health clinic, and ergonomic support, to foster a convenient and health-conscious workplace environment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>How do you apply?</strong></p> <p>To apply, we kindly ask you to upload your documents on our career page.
