Job Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Material sampling & testing (concrete, cement, aggregates, admixtures, etc.)</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Plan and implementation of project programs</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Data management and reporting, Maintain SR & ED records</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Coordinate external testing with consultants and contractors</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Provide technical support for different business units</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Review specifications and research literature</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Draft technical report</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Support advanced material characterization activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Use of LCR meters, graphing and data visualization tools.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Participation in research involving nano tubes and concrete material technologies.</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Engineering degree (Materials, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical)</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Good verbal and writing communication skills</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Experience in technical writing</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Strong analytical skill with good attention to details and accuracy</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Knowledge about cement, concrete, and aggregates</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Advanced computer knowledge including MS Office and Minitab</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Familiarity with LCR meters and related laboratory instrumentation used for material property measurement</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to perform graphing, data visualization, and interpretation of laboratory results</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Experience working with concrete materials in laboratory or field environments</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Exposure to nano tubes or nano enhanced material technologies considered an asset</li> </ul> This job posting reflects an existing vacancy.
