This role leads daily plant activities, supports drivers, and ensures concrete is produced to specification while following safety, quality, and environmental standards. The Plant Operator plays a key role in keeping projects moving and communities building. Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Operate and oversee daily plant activities in line with company policies and safety standards</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinate with dispatch and drivers to meet production and delivery requirements</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitor plant performance, conduct inspections, and report or address maintenance needs</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Order and manage cement, aggregates, admixtures, and specialty products</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead plant communication, team meetings, and support positive employee relations</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintain records, complete reports, and support safety audits and incident investigations</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">1–3 years of experience in batching, plant operations, or related industrial work or recent graduation from a Civil Engineering Technologist/Technician program.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Valid driver’s licence; loader ticket or experience with a front-end loader considered an asset</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Basic computer skills and ability to operate batching systems</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Working knowledge of OH&S regulations and safe work practices</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and at other locations as required</li> </ul> This job posting reflects an existing vacancy.
