This position is responsible for operating a front-end loader in the yard for the purpose of loading trucks and production equipment on-site. This position is also responsible for various other yard maintenance activities. Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Follow safe work procedures and act safely in the workplace.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Completing daily and weekly plant inspections.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Maintain cleanliness of plant and yard.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Load aggregate material into trucks, trailers, bays and production equipment. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Responsible for maintaining an accurate plant inventory of aggregate material.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Communicate quickly to Supervisor any issues that will impact production.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Train back up operators as needed.</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Successful completion of a heavy equipment operator program from an accredited institution (asset).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Experience operating a front end loader (experience with a John Deere 644K or similar is an asset).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Completion of high school diploma or GED.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Valid Class G driver’s license.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Good communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written). </li> </ul> This job posting reflects an existing vacancy.
