Position Overview This position is responsible for safe and efficient operation of various types of construction equipment on our job sites. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, base roller, and loaders. Wage ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, based on experience. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li>Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.</li> <li>Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use.</li> <li>Report any issues or concerns with equipment to supervisor immediately.</li> <li>Load and unload materials onto/from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles using various types of machinery.</li> <li>Operate excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, and other heavy equipment to move earth, clear debris, and level land.</li> <li>Dig trenches, holes, and other foundations as directed.</li> <li>Backfill excavations and compact soil using heavy equipment.</li> <li>Assist in the construction buildings, roads, bridges, and other. </li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li> </ul> Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
