Job Summary Assists Production Supervisor with the production workforce and process by ensuring a safe and efficient production of OES products that meet quality standards and customer specifications. Job Responsibilities <ul> <li style="">Serves as a proactive back-up to immediate Shift Supervisor, when necessary communicates with prior shift management or production manager to gather critical operations information including machine functionality, materials levels, and production data and priorities</li> <li style="">Leads shift huddles to share daily production information and a safety topic to ensure alignment on production priorities and an efficient shift start. </li> <li style="">Assists Production Supervisor in conflict resolution between personnel</li> <li style="">Schedules and communicates machine assignments for production employees based on the production schedule, highest priority production needs and labor constraints</li> <li style="">Observes all production related operations to confirm machine functionality, appropriate volume of production and adherence to operational and safety procedures, reports any issues identified</li> <li style="">Identifies and proactively addresses safety concerns and enforces staff compliance with safety regulations</li> <li style="">Maintains up to date operations data, including production hours earned or machine attainment, machine down-time, material levels and scrap records</li> <li style="">Ensures all new employees receive necessary safety and technical training to ensure efficient ramp up into production roles</li> <li style="">Maintains accurate employee attendance and performance information</li> <li style="">Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed</li> </ul> Job Requirements <ul> <li style="">High school diploma or equivalent; or at least one month of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li> <li style="">Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required</li> <li style="">Prior experience in production/manufacturing</li> <li style="">At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role</li> <li style="">Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly</li> <li style="">Must be able to work in plant production environment involving indoor & outdoor work, exposure to noise, dust, and in proximity to hot equipment</li> <li style="">Block or paver machine experience preferred</li> </ul> What CRH Offers You <ul> <li style="">Highly competitive base pay</li> <li style="">Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs</li> <li style="">Group retirement savings program</li> <li style="">Health and wellness programs</li> <li style="">An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion </li> </ul> About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
