This position incorporates directives provided by corporate management into policies and procedures to maintain standards and schedules. The position exercises direct or indirect supervision over a large number of employees. What you’ll be contributing: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Conducts meetings with plant staff personnel to communicate, coordinate and discuss plant operations. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Monitors, inspects, and reviews all plant activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ensures production schedule corresponds with sales forecasts.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Assists in investigating customer and quality problems and concerns.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Meets with government agencies and community groups concerning plant activities to ensure sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Establishes plant standards, short-term goals, and long-term strategic plans for production, maintenance, and improvements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Discusses new products, equipment, and ideas with staff and vendors.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Analyzes plant costs and explore methods to improve productivity cost-effectively.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Uses technology to develop a continuous improvement plan for the plant.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Troubleshoots various problems and performance barriers. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.</li> </ul> To succeed in this position, you will need: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, chemistry, natural sciences, business administration, or closely related field.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Professional Engineer (PE) preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Minimum 10 years in a cement or lime manufacturing facility with specific exposure to plant management responsibilities. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Proficient in English written, verbal communication, and listening skills.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to make decisions and solve problems with high attention to detail and accuracy </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability
