This position demands versatility, as team members may be assigned to a range of tasks based on project needs, shifting responsibilities from one activity to another to ensure project progression and quality. Titles within this career path may include Laborer, General Laborer, and Paving Laborer. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and using appropriate tools and equipment for each task.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Follow company guidelines and OSHA/MSHA safety standards, promptly reporting concerns to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Support the construction and paving crew through tasks such as shoveling, raking, transporting materials with wheelbarrows, and safely assisting with truck operations.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Communicate and signal equipment operators to coordinate alignment, movement, and material handling using shovels and other equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Carry out assignments as directed by the Foreman, meeting the specific expectations for each project or site.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Operate small power tools when needed, including jack hammers and similar devices.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Excavate, distribute, and level construction materials as required for project needs.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Lift, carry, and secure a variety of materials, tools, and supplies throughout the workday.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Assist in the setup, relocation, and removal of traffic control devices such as signs, barricades, and cones.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Demonstrate reliability through regular and punctual attendance at all assigned work times.</li> <li
