In this hands-on role, you’ll supervise and guide a skilled paving and construction crew, drive daily production decisions, and work side by side with your team members to deliver outstanding results. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Champion a safe work environment by ensuring strict compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations (OSHA/MSHA).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proactively report safety concerns or issues to supervisors or the safety team.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead, motivate, and delegate tasks to your crew, ensuring everyone is set up for success.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Make independent decisions to keep projects on track, efficiently solving challenges as they arise.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work collaboratively and hands-on, assisting with shoveling, raking, wheelbarrow operation, truck backing/dumping, and signaling equipment operators.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Help with site setup, traffic control devices, and general project logistics as needed.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Promote the company’s values, representing our interests with professionalism in all interactions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform other related duties to support project and company success.</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Education: High school diploma or GED required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in asphalt construction or related field, including team leadership.
