<p>The <strong>Maintenance Technician</strong> is responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across the manufacturing plant. This role collaborates closely with production and quality teams to ensure continuous operation and timely repairs.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Shift: </strong>6 PM -<strong> </strong>6 AM, 2-2-3 schedule</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipment</li> <li>Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain production output</li> <li>Provide resources and support to help the engineering team execute projects efficiently throughout the plant</li> <li>Operation, troubleshoot, and repair of Steam, Refrigeration, and Wastewater systems</li> <li>Fabrication of components, tools and equipment</li> <li>Execute and complete PM (Preventative Maintenance) work without production interruption as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Lead</li> <li>Direct actions as necessary to ensure safety</li> <li>Maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); work order entry, completions, requisitions, inventory</li> <li>Utilize SAP for completing Purchase requisitions</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>5+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience</li> <li>Experience working on and around Sanitary Systems</li> <li>Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment working with pumps, gearboxes, and steam traps</li> <li>Experience fabricating components, tools, and equipment; Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)</li> <li>Boiler Experience – Blue or Black Seal Boiler License is a plus</li> <li>Desire and ability to learn about new and existing processing systems</li> <li>Ability to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at elevated heights</li> <li>Food Manufacturing and GMP Environment Experience preferred, but not mandatory</li> <li>Ability to work on electrical systems preferred; motors, drives, PLC’s, temperature, flow and other control instruments and devices </li> <li>Stainless Steel and Sanitary Welding skills is a plus</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Physical Demands: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally lift up to 75 lbs; occasional sitting, climbing/balancing, squatting, crawling, push/pull, and gripping; frequent stooping/twisting, kneeling, reaching, constant standing, walking, visual acuity (near/far)</li> <li>Environmental Conditions: Occasional exposure to uneven ground, working at heights, and biohazards; frequent exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures, dust/fumes; constant exposure to hazards and machinery</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><em>The following common allergens are processed in our facilities: wheat, eggs, dairy, and soy.</em></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Looking for a Career for Good?</strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>We offer a competitive compensation and benefit package, designed to promote a <em>Happier, Healthier You</em> which includes:</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Compensation for this role is hourly and will be based on your experience, skills, and location, with a typical hourly range between $24.69 and $35.49.</li> <li>This role is eligible for a Quarterly Incentive Program (QIP). This incentive is paid on a quarterly basis.
