Position Overview In this role, you will work with our utility crews to lay and/or dig up pipe in the ground. As you grow, you'll be trained on various types of utility equipment. From utility/conduit, to water and sewer lines you'll work on projects big and small, playing an integral part as we stand together to reinvent the way our world is built. Set up barricades and safety cones.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Keep machines cleaned and maintained.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Keep time and material records.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Travel to and from various locations.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Routinely assist other members of the work force in different areas of production.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">May operate heavy equipment to include front end loader, excavator, backhoe, or other equipment as needed.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Regular and timely attendance.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt">Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.</li> </ul> Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
