This position performs all tasks involved in the production of straws by following standard work methods to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary</b></H2> </div><div><p>Acquire the skills to maintain the machines as per autonomous maintenance (AM) and produce straws as per given methods that consider World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methods and quality parameters. You will:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Follow production safety rules</li> <li>Work according to existing procedures/ Standards</li> <li>Execute basic Autonomous Maintenance (AM) operations and Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication (CIL)</li> <li>Define anomalies and put tags</li> <li>Conduct basic/elementary quality tests</li> <li>Create One Point Lessons (OPLs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You Will Do</b></H2> </div><div><p>As an Operator your key responsibilities will be:</p> <ul> <li>Test products for quality assurance.</li> <li>Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices or products by identifying root cause.</li> <li>Collect and weigh waste in correctly labelled barrels or other containers.</li> <li>Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.</li> <li>Prepare and assemble materials, change film, attach labels to products</li> <li>Fill out digital forms.</li> <li>Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes and place on designated pallets.</li> <li>Write improvement tags for any operational, mechanical, safety, or environmental anomaly.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and safe work area.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Measurables:</p> <ul> <li>Efficiently performs routine production tasks as per established procedures</li> <li>Good quality output as per established norm</li> <li>Learn World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and autonomous maintenance (AM) skills to build sustainable performance in future</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Who You Are</b></H2> </div><div><p>We believe you have:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred</li> <li>Dependable and reliable</li> <li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li> <li>Ability to operate and maintain equipment in manufacturing environment</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What We Offer</b></H2> </div><div><p>Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and responsibilities. Within the range, individual pay is defined by diverse factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work location and others. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak’s total compensation package for employees.
