OVERVIEW Support safe, efficient plant operations by maintaining a clean work environment, performing sanitation and utility tasks, assisting with packaging and production activities, completing required documentation, and following GMP, food safety, and safety procedures to ensure the production of safe, quality food. This position requires the flexibility to work various shifts, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and overtime, as needed. Weekend shifts may be mandated based on business needs. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Perform daily and weekly cleaning activities and complete all required documentation.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Comply with all GMP, food safety, and safety policies and procedures.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Perform product packaging operations in accordance with established standard operating procedures.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Operate a forklift, once certified, and complete production-related documentation, including tote production controls and the magnet cleaning procedure, as well as occasional deliveries and shipments.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Support bagging room operations during Operator break periods and respond to metal detector alerts by verifying the rejected bag is removed from the line prior to restart.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Perform starch dumping activities using the correct starch and ensure bag fragments or knives do not enter the hopper.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Operate the chemical station and perform chemical concentration and bleach mixing in accordance with established procedures.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Manage waste in accordance with approved trash disposal methods and site requirements.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Follow the GMP color-coding system as follows: blue for food-contact tools;
