OVERVIEW The Specialty Process Team manager is responsible to provide necessary technical support and leadership, to directing, facilitating, and coordinating the performance, development, and improvement of the overall operation. This position has the responsibility of establishing/maintaining a capable, continuously improving, high-quality workforce with a focus on improving plant equipment reliability, quality, process, and efficiency. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Directs sugar refining operations on designated shift.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Directs teams of specialized employees ensuring good manufacturing practices, GMP and safe operating procedures.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Achieves standard production volume, quality standards, and regulatory compliance through the supervision of hourly personnel on rotating shifts.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Controls the use of energy (fuel and steam), water, air, and electric power in an ongoing effort to reduce refining costs. Controls the use of refining aids. Ensures that cost objectives are met.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develops supervisory and operating personnel to ensure optimum use of labor force assigned to each shift.
