Supports and implements the HSSE management system, processes, and programs while driving adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements. Manages contractor HSSE performance through scoring, best practice implementation, and lessons learned integration. Facilitates investigations and root cause analyses, and tracks and reports daily, weekly, and monthly activities and non-conformances. Operates independently and with integrity to achieve departmental KPIs and HSSE targets. Role Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Promotes and ensures the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and subcontractors when working on RWECE facilities and projects</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Drives continuous improvement in HSSE within all operations, project execution, and functional departments of the company</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinates the collection and accuracy of contractor man-hours</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Frequently travels to facilities and projects within the assigned region; greater than 50% of the time</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conducts investigations, prepares & submits reports and updates to the KPA Flex system</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Partners with Operations, Project Execution, and Engineering on the development of Corrective Actions for incidents and events through closure</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintains, monitors, and reports HSSE performance metrics, statistics, records, and injury reports (OSHA 300) in a timely manner, using automated record-keeping systems for the assigned region</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs and documents Wind/Solar/Battery Operations, Project Execution audits, inspections, and technical assessments/observations</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Leads the implementation and monitoring of HSSE programs across a portfolio of sites within a designated region or technology type</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Delivers HSSE training on topics such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, working at heights, and hazard communication</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Actively participates in Operations, Project Execution, Project Development, and Engineering meetings</li> </ul> Job Requirements and Experiences: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">An associate’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Construction Safety, and/or Environmental Science, or a related field, is required</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A professional certification is preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A minimum of 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable;
