<div id="tor__fintJobDescHeader_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__fintJobDescHeader_content"> <p><strong>Name of the Project:</strong> Sustainability Strategic Analysis and Data Integration</p> <p><strong>Vice Presidency:</strong> Sustainability</p> <p><strong>Region:</strong> Central</p> <p><strong>Intern’s Location (Office):</strong> Margain Offices</p> <div> </div> <p><strong>Eligible Semester(s):</strong> 5th - 8th semester</p> <p><strong>Careers of Interest:</strong> Computer Systems Engineering, Data Science, Geomatics / Geoinformatics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Digital Transformation Engineering</p> <p><strong>Schedule Availability:</strong> Between 25 and 30 hours per week</p> <p><strong>Period of Stay at CEMEX:</strong> 6 months, with the option of renewal</p> <p><strong>Tentative Start Date:</strong> July 2026</p> <h3><strong>________________________________________________________________________________________________________</strong></h3> <p><strong>Project Objective</strong></p> <div> <p>Support the Sustainability team in the collection, integration, analysis, and visualization of sustainability data using data analytics tools, GIS, and corporate platforms, contributing to decision-making and both internal and external reporting.</p> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Support in preparing information for sustainability reports</li> <li>Develop competitor benchmarks and ESG reports</li> <li>Provide support in assurance processes</li> <li>Assist in integrating and managing data across platforms such as SAP, Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, and other corporate systems</li> <li>Basic automation of data processing and data validation workflows</li> <li>Develop and maintain dashboards and maps for environmental indicator visualization</li> <li>Manage and update geographic information in GIS platforms (GeoDataCenter or other geographic viewers)</li> <li>Develop and review cartography related to quarries, plants, and assets, as well as perform basic land cover analyses</li> <li>Support documentation, knowledge sharing, and internal training on the use of data and GIS tools</li> </ul> <h3> </h3> <h3><strong>Specific Requirements / Qualifications</strong></h3> <p>Desired Technical Skills</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, handling large datasets)</li> <li>Power BI for dashboard creation and publishing</li> <li>Basic knowledge of databases and SQL</li> <li>GIS tools, preferably ArcGIS (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online)</li> <li>Basic Python for data process automation</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Competencies and Skills</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail</li> <li>Interest in data integration, spatial analysis, and visualization</li> <li>Ability to work with multiple data sources</li> <li>Ability to communicate results clearly</li> <li>Proactive attitude, fast learner, and team player</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Preferred Plus Qualifications</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Knowledge of environmental topics, sustainability, or natural resource management</li> <li>Previous experience in GIS projects, data analysis, or data visualization</li> </ul> </div> </div>
