<div id="tor__fintJobDescHeader_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__fintJobDescHeader_content"> <p><strong>Name of the Project:</strong> Laboratory Support Intern</p> <p><strong>Vice Presidency:</strong> Global Operations & Technology</p> <p><strong>Region:</strong> Central</p> <p><strong>Intern’s Location (Office):</strong> Margain Offices</p> <div> </div> <p><strong>Eligible Semester(s):</strong> 9th - 10th semester</p> <p><strong>Careers of Interest:</strong> Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering</p> <p><strong>Schedule Availability:</strong> Between 25 and 30 hours per week</p> <p><strong>Period of Stay at CEMEX:</strong> 6 months, with the option of renewal</p> <p><strong>Tentative Start Date:</strong> June 2026</p> <h3><strong>________________________________________________________________________________________________________</strong></h3> <p><strong>Project Objective</strong></p> <div> <p>Collaborate in the development of projects, performing tasks and activities in the Global laboratory-</p> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Challenges for the Students</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform in a cement laboratory work environment (manual operation, standing periods), as well as in office work for the preparation of reports and presentations.</li> <li>Carry out chemical and physical analyses on cement, clinker, raw materials and SCM samples</li> </ul> <div> </div> <p><strong>Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>Carry out tasks involving research on technological updates through digital search resources, databases and specialized publications.</li> <li>Prepare technology watch reports.</li> <li>Carry out analysis and testing of samples in the cement laboratory.</li> <li>Support inventory activities.</li> <li>Support equipment maintenance, calibration and verification plan activities.</li> </ul> <p> </p> </div> <p><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Specific Requirements / Qualifications</strong></span></p> </div> </div> <div> <ul> <li>Ability to synthesize and organize data, as well as to prepare presentations.</li> <li>Laboratory experience: chemical-type analysis activities and physical tests involving physical effort (maximum load 20–25 kg).</li> <li>Attention to detail: chemical analysis activities are sensitive to variations.</li> <li>Independence: ability to learn and perform chemical and physical laboratory tests autonomously, without constant supervision.</li> <li>Behave responsibly and in accordance with CEMEX’s Health and Safety guidelines.</li> <li>IT skills: MS Office and digital design tools.</li> </ul> </div>
