<div id="tor__fintJobDescHeader_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__fintJobDescHeader_content"> <div id="tor__fintJobDescHeader_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__fintJobDescHeader_content"> <p><strong>Name of the Project:</strong> Accounting Technology Intern</p> <p><strong>Vice Presidency:</strong> Finance and Administration</p> <p><strong>Region:</strong> Central</p> <p><strong>Intern’s Location (Office):</strong> Margain Offices</p> <div> </div> <p><strong>Eligible Semester(s):</strong> 6th semester or higher</p> <p><strong>Careers of Interest:</strong> Bachelor's degree in Accounting</p> <p><strong>Schedule Availability:</strong> Between 25 and 30 hours per week</p> <p><strong>Period of Stay at CEMEX:</strong> 6 months, with the option of renewal</p> <p><strong>Tentative Start Date:</strong> June 2026</p> <h3><strong>________________________________________________________</strong></h3> <p><strong>Project Objective</strong></p> <div> <p>This position supports global financial reporting under IFRS and collaborates with cross-functional teams across the Company to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.</p> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Challenges for the Students</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing accuracy associated with quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles, including SEC filings such as Form 20-F and Form 6-K.</li> <li>Addressing technical accounting and disclosure matters under IFRS.</li> <li>Coordinating cross-functional teams across geographies.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>Participate in the preparation and review of the Company’s consolidated annual financial statements under IFRS and any interim period as required.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, controls and external reporting requirements.</li> <li>Support the preparation and coordination of SEC filings, BMV, and other regulatory submissions.</li> <li>Collaborate in the analysis and validation of accounting estimates and matters.</li> <li>Support implementation and monitoring of new IFRS standards.</li> <li>Contribute to tool improvements and automation initiatives within the global reporting process.</li> </ul> </div> <h3> </h3> <p><strong>Specific Requirements / Qualifications</strong></p> </div> </div> <div> <p>Technical Skills.</p> <ul> <li>Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI, and internal financial data analysis tools.</li> <li>Experience with financial reporting or consolidation systems is desirable.</li> </ul> <p>Soft Skills</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail. Effective communication and storytelling skills to clearly explain financial information, along with a collaborative mindset and a strong willingness to continuously learn and develop technical expertise.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> <p> </p>
