lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs and pushing and pulling of 150lbs. Mechanics may also climb ladders and step stools. Business needs require that the employee in this position work an established 40 hours workweek and work additional hours outside of the standard schedule as production needs arise. Personal protective equipment must be worn where required. Depending on work location, closed toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves or protection from high noise levels in needed. To ensure products satisfy the required quality levels and that operators are consistently efficient and effective, employees must wear protection clothing such as company provided and maintained uniform, coverall, frock, hair net, beard cover, etc in certain areas of the facility.
