<p>The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p><strong>HVAC Engineer</strong><br><strong>Altrad</strong><br><strong>HPC</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Permanent</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Accountabilities</strong></p> <p>• Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the Project. Ensuring all site activities are undertaken safely and responsibly, and in accordance with the CDM Regulations. <br>• Manage a set area within the Balance of Plant (BOP) on the HPC project. <br>• As part of a multi-disciplinary team, to drive the project to support the safe delivery of the areas on time, to the right quality to the highest safety standards. <br>• Ensure the appropriate deliverables are produced on time to ensure no delays to construction activities. <br>• Ensure Configuration Control is maintained across the scope Works Information. <br>• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. <br>• Raise technical queries and monitoring progress.</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>• Relevant degree in construction or mechanical or electrical engineering, <br>• Or HND/HNC in construction or mechanical or electrical engineering (desirable) <br>• Minimum 5 years' experience working in a Major Project Engineering (Construction) role (essential) <br>• CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport <br>• Capable of obtaining security clearance of BPSS or higher. <br>• Professional accreditation (preferred).<br>• Navis Works knowledge (desirable) <br>• Knowledge of NEC ECC Contract is desirable. <br>• Proven experience of safely delivering large scale construction or engineering projects. <br>• Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial as is experience in working within a Joint Venture or Alliance environment. <br>• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics</p> <p><br><strong>Experience</strong></p> <p>• Supporting the BOP Building Leads to deliver the scope. <br>• Provide a weekly report on progress and update to programme. <br>• Productivity reviews and control of hours <br>• Construction method improvement plans. <br>• Lead and foster a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
