<p>The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Temporary Works Engineer</strong><br><strong>Bilfinger</strong><br><strong>Hinkley Point C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Main Duties:</strong></p> <p><br>Coordinate and supervise all types of temporary works in line with Bilfinger's Temporary works procedures, ensuring safe erection, use, maintenance and dismantling of temporary work.<br>Delegate and organise tasks to align with the temporary works schedule.<br>Engage with the client and contractors to ensure the temporary works are designed, checked and implemented on site in accordance with relevant drawings, specifications and safety standards<br>Manage and monitor all temporary works to ensure delivery in line with Bilfinger UK HSEQ policy<br>Prepare, maintain and regularly review the Temporary Works register to ensure all temporary works and the assigned level of risk is included.<br>Ensure any proposed changes in material or construction are assessed and ensure any agreed changes/corrections are carried out.<br>Work closely with the Site Engineering and Installation team<br>Propose technical solutions to support installation and the supporting temporary works<br>Design safe, compliant and cost-effective solutions<br>Submit material needs to procurement and logistics in timely manner<br>Ensure compliance with UK construction codes and standards<br>Coordinate with multi-location and multi-national teams<br>Provide input into Risk assessments and Method statements<br>Monday to Friday <br>38 hours a week <br>Based on site at HPC full time</p> <p><br><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p><br>CCNSG required.<br>Experience in a similar role is required.</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
