<p>The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Welders</strong><br><strong>Ledwood Engineering</strong><br><strong>Hinkley Point C</strong></p> <p><br>Ledwood are currently recruiting for experienced Welders.</p> <p><br>These positions form part of our work within the Arabelle steam turbine buildings, where we are installing equipment ranging from small 2Te pumps to a 2,440Te condenser. All applicants must meet strict competency, safety, and security requirements.</p> <p><br>We are recruiting qualified MMA / MIG Welders with TIG experience. Candidates must be able to achieve the appropriate codings and meet ISO welding standards.</p> <p><br><strong>Candidates should be qualified to ISO standards, including but not limited to:</strong></p> <p><br>Butt weld - 2" carbon steel pipe - 6G Position (TIG/MMA)<br>Fillet weld - 2" carbon steel pipe to plate - horizontal position (TIG/MMA/MIG)<br>2" stainless steel pipe weld - 6G Position (TIG/MMA)</p> <p><br><strong>Before employment, you will be required to:</strong></p> <p><br>Complete a weld test (locations available in Pembrokeshire and Teesside)<br>Complete an additional weld test and exam at Bridgwater College<br>Attend a short video interview</p> <p><br><strong>Basic Requirements for all positions:</strong></p> <p><br>Valid CCNSG Safety Passport is mandatory<br>NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or Apprenticeship qualification required</p> <p><br>All personnel will also complete an onsite Medical for Safety critical works, working at height and confined spaces. Additional training for working at height / confined spaces will also be provided.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Project Specifics</strong></p> <p><br>Start Date: Throughout March & April 2026 (Start dates will be dependent on gaining your Site Clearance) <br>Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset <br>Hours: 10 hours per day, 10 days on 4 days off <br>£29.34 basic rate ph + potential £2.94 Bonus <br>(Overtime after 38 hours) <br>(Rate above Based on Grade 5 ECSA Site Agreement) <br>(PAYE weekly paid ONLY) </p> <p> </p> <p>Lodge allowance £50.81 per night and or Travel Allowances are payable (All rates/ allowances are in line with the ECSA Site Agreement)</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
