<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Project Controls Graduate (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>Altrad Services UK</strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p><br>We are seeking organised and analytical Graduate Project Controls Engineers to support the planning, monitoring and control of works delivered by the MEH Alliance at Sizewell C.<br>This role will be based originally in our Bristol Office but can transition to site. The role will offer hands-on experience on a live nuclear new-build project within a highly regulated and safety-critical environment. Working as part of an integrated alliance team, you will support cost control, scheduling, progress reporting and performance management activities, while following a structured graduate development pathway toward professional accreditation and Chartered status</p> <p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><br>• Support project planning, scheduling and progress tracking activities across MEH work scopes<br>• Assist in the development, maintenance and update of project schedules and work breakdown structures<br>• Collect, validate and analyse cost, schedule and progress data from site delivery teams<br>• Support cost control, forecasting, earned value and change management activities under supervision<br>• Assist in the preparation of project reports, dashboards and performance metrics for internal and client use<br>• Participate in site meetings, progress reviews and alliance coordination forums<br>• Support risk, opportunity and contingency management processes<br>• Ensure all project controls activities comply with nuclear site licence conditions, regulatory requirements and company procedures<br>• Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls tools, systems and reporting<br>• Actively engage in graduate training, mentoring and professional development activities</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <p><br>Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Project Management or Quantity Surveying or related discipline</p> <p><br><strong>Experience </strong></p> <p><br>• Strong interest in project controls, planning, cost management and performance reporting<br>• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills<br>• Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with site teams and stakeholders<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, site-based environment<br>• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to planning or reporting tools is desirable but not essential<br>• Previous industrial placement or internship experience is advantageous but not essential</p> <p> </p> <p>Other Details </p> <p> </p> <p>Security & Eligibility Requirements<br>Due to the nature of the Sizewell C project and the secure nuclear environment:<br>Applicants must be Sole British Nationals<br>Applicants must be eligible to obtain UK CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) security clearance<br>Employment is subject to satisfactory security clearance and background checks</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
