<p>The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Project Planner</strong><br><strong>TCi</strong><br><strong>Hinkley Point C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Location: </strong>Bridgwater (Somerset)</p> <p><br>WE’RE HIRING – PROJECT PLANNER</p> <p><br>We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Planner to join TCi (GB) Ltd and support the successful delivery of projects across our growing portfolio.<br>This role is key to ensuring our projects are carefully planned, effectively monitored, and delivered on time and within scope.</p> <p><br><strong>ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <p><br>• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined.<br>• Monitor project progress against agreed schedules, identifying delays, risks, and opportunities for improvement.<br>• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to coordinate project activities and resource planning.<br>• Produce regular progress reports, including programme updates, lookaheads, and performance data for internal and client review.<br>• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on delivery.<br>• Support the planning and scheduling of labour, materials, and equipment requirements across multiple projects.<br>• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with project programmes and expectations.<br>• Assist in the preparation of tender programmes and planning input for new project bids.<br>• Analyse project data, highlight trends, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes.<br>• Ensure all project schedules and planning documentation are kept up to date and aligned with company procedures.</p> <p><br><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p><br>• Practical and methodical approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail.<br>• Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.<br>• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders.<br>• Ability to analyse data, identify risks, and propose effective solutions.<br>• Proficient in project planning software (Preferably Primavera P6, alternatively ASTA Powerproject) and Microsoft Office packages.<br>• Understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and planning best practices.<br>• Full UK driving licence.<br>• Eligibility to work in the UK.</p> <p><br><strong>DESIRABLE:</strong></p> <p><br>• Previous experience in a Project Planner or similar role within construction or engineering.<br>• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and programme requirements.<br>• Experience supporting tender programmes and bid submissions.</p> <p><br><strong>OTHER:</strong></p> <p><br>• Competitive salary (dependent on experience)<br>• Monday to Friday working hours<br>• Additional leave for length of service<br>• Your birthday off, on us!<br>• Employee assistance programme, discounts, and referral scheme</p> <p><br>TCi is an Armed Forces Covenant registered and Disability Confident Committed Employer.
